Do 5 sheep make a flock?

Sorry for being a little slow on this but I’ve just researched World Vision’s gifts and it looks as if we could buy 5 sheep with the £40 we put together. See below:

Surpise a loved one with a sheep! Familes in ethiopia often struggle to make ends meet where life is hard already. Sheep give milk, wool to sell to earn a living.

Is this OK with everyone? They don’t have beards but they are still cute and they provide wool which is quite useful.

Hands of an Angel

Jake makes the The Echo, 6/12/05

Read the article online here.

Or here:

An exhibition called Watchers and Holy Ones is being held at the University of Gloucestershire's chapel. The exhibition, by local artist Jake Lever, is inspired by hands belonging to angels, the magi and Christ.

University chaplain, the Rev Tamsin Merchant organised the exhibition.

She said: "If you want to have a go yourself, we provide the materials, some inspiration to get you started and the space to be quiet and make a prayer as a gift, a prayer, a blessing, as solidarity or as a protest."

The exhibition is open Monday to Friday from 10am to 4pm at the University of Gloucestershire Chapel at Francis Close Hall Campus, Swindon Road, Cheltenham.

The work will be on display during the university's carol service at 6pm on Thursday.
