As someone who has had one too many spliffs in my time, I am becoming increasingly conscious of the dangers of smoking cannabis (or should I say 'abusing' cannabis). But that's by the by. What interested me about Bri's Thought for the Day were his comments about contentment. I think there is a strong thread of bliblical material that does advocate that contentment comes from 'blithely accepting our lot', much of it propogated by the Apostle Paul. Maybe worth further discussion one Wednesday night?
